Understanding Trading Cards Tracker value estimates
Dates, coverage and comparable listings give an estimate its context.
An estimate is not a completed sale
Saved indicative values may come from observed comparable listing prices. They are not confirmed sale amounts and do not guarantee that a card can be sold for that value.
Check date and coverage
An old observation may not reflect current conditions. Cards with insufficient data may have no estimate. Missing data does not mean a card is worth zero.
Understand the method
The current method for clean RAW comparables in euros uses the lower value with two comparables and limited confidence. With three or more it uses the median of the three cheapest. One comparable does not produce an estimate. Identity and cleaning rules apply, and postage is excluded.
Separate portfolio and market changes
Your collection value also depends on copy quantities and valuation coverage. A total change may result from changed holdings or newly valued cards. Consult the separate market attribution when available.
